Positionality Coaching

Are you passionate about your mahi but struggling to engage in your work in an authentic and culturally safe way? Do you want to be more effective in your relationships and have deeper connections and understanding of others?

It’s time to invest in yourself, leave behind the insecurities and doubt, and lean into your purpose. Imagine that you are able to show up feeling excited and confident about who you are in your work and how that will benefit those around you and the wider communities that your work impacts.

Exploring your positionality means developing an in depth understanding of the intersecting aspects of your identity. Once we understand what has shaped you, we can reflect on how this influences your beliefs and values, and how this impacts on your ability to influence others and create positive change in your mahi.

“The coaching with Roxy was really rewarding. I've gained skills and knowledge about how to communicate clearly and assertively with my team and to reflect on my leadership skills. I noticed myself becoming clearer with my direction and more able to delegate effectively. In particular I found Roxy's reflective style to be insightful and found her practical suggestions to be beneficial. I'm excited to continue on my management journey and to put the tools and skills that I learned with Roxy into practice.” — Nicoletta M

Coaching is incredibly valuable, see what my clients have to say about our sessions:

Because of Roxy's in-depth knowledge of the human brain, she was able to easily articulate the problems and solutions, which quickly established trust and enabled me to feel more comfortable and get the most out of our sessions together. I now have a daily action plan which helps me take focused action and I feel better about myself and my business-building abilities. I have the confidence to know my success is inevitable. Thanks Roxy!

“The coaching sessions introduced different concepts and methods to monitor the way I can process my thoughts, which in turn has a direct impact on my emotions. I have more awareness about my own thoughts, and how I can become more objective and detached from those thoughts. I believe through persistent practise I will gain more control over my thoughts, and in turn I should have more control over the emotion.”

“I initially thought that as I had a goal and plans there would be little benefit for me in coaching sessions for myself. I was so wrong, my plans are now in writing, whereas before they were just in my head, because of this they are clearer and I now also have a checklist too. I became more aware of the way I think and my mindset, which was positive for me.

I am feeling more motivated, positive and more open to possibilities and ideas. I felt very comfortable talking to Roxy and I don't normally feel comfortable talking about myself. Roxy was open and honest with her comments, non-judgmental and really got me thinking, which is very important.”

“I found the sessions really helpful, I feel like I got a lot out of them as it helped me to focus more clearly on what it is that I want, and what might be standing in my way. It was helpful to me to have some more clarity around my goals as I tend to go off in all directions at once, and want to do everything at once as well. I also seem to have a tendency to overload myself with information and then suffer from information indigestion!! So It was great  for me to have some succinctness.”

“In a relatively short amount of time, I was able to establish some tangible goals which put the wheels in motion to move forward with setting up my business. Thank you Roxy!”
